Texas Bluebonnet

Each year, the Texas Library Association nominates twenty books that they recommend for students in grades 3-6.

Students who read and earn credit for at least five of the twenty books are invited to attend our Bluebonnet Party in January where they will be able to vote for their favorite Bluebonnet Book in the statewide election (and enjoy games, snacks, and prizes)! 

The winning book is announced in the spring and the author will receive the Texas Bluebonnet Award! 

Students can earn credit for each Bluebonnet Book they read by completing a quiz or Flipgrid:
